Izzy came to HB from a recruiter and was keen to write of her experience:
Joining HB has been a fantastic experience. My previous positions have all been in-house in small art departments, so I was slightly nervous joining a creative agency as I didn’t know what to expect. However, the team was friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the offset.
Having previously gone through drawn out interview processes, I was happy with how concise the experience was at HB. My initial call gave me confidence that the role at HB was what I was looking for, and the second and final interviews gave me the chance to meet three more staff members I would be working closely with.
I had a buddy when I joined who helped familiarise me with HB processes and made me feel very welcome at the company wide summer party, that happened to be on my second day! HB have a good frequency of socials and creative evenings, and I also got involved with the photography team, helping to update the company headshots, which has been a great way to get to know the wider team.
The main reason I wanted to join HB was that I believed the role would push me creatively – and it has done just that! Through working on concepts for a variety of clients, I have been able to develop my conceptual design skills through help from the creative leads, who have encouraged me to push my designs in new and unexpected ways. I’m only coming up to my first year at HB and I believe I have already gained invaluable experience and I’m proud of the work that I do here.
